Jean & Ben are the sweetest people ever. They live in Washington DC and work for an NGO helping to protect all the natural places on our planet. They meet in Paris at a climate conference and fell in love while walking the lamp-lit streets. They decided to have their wedding here in Zion National Park and invited all their friends and family who traveled far and wide, a lot of them all the way from Taiwan and the east coast of the US.
Today I’m sharing this beautiful sunrise formal at Sand Hollow State Park. We started the shoot off with Sausha & Blair’s first look overlooking the lake. The lighting and weather were so perfect, I need to shoot here in the morning more often!
Engagement session with horses in Zion National Park, yes please!
This has to be one of my favorite sessions ever. We woak up early to catch the sunrise, it was a beautiful summer day. Sadie and Brian were amazing to photograph, and their 2 horses, Bo and Rem were a dream. My favorite part of the day was when I had them run through the water. The sun was coming up behind them and the light and the water looked so amazing. I got pretty wet, and walked in the muddy water in my tennis shoes but didn’t care one bit. I would do this every morning if I could!
Nansi & Jamie traveled all the way from the UK to elope to Zion National Park. They stayed at Under the Eaves in Springdale. I love this adorable B&B. So many fun details all over the property.
Jamie and Nansi shared a private first look in one of the cabins, and we followed with some portraits of them and their closest family and friends who made the trip to Utah. After, we headed into the park to take some couples portraits. It was very windy but it made for some cool shots that I really ended up loving.
Their ceremony took place right outside the park’s borders at a place called Rockville Bench. I just loved everything about this elopement. Nansi and Jamie are the sweetest people, and their quirky style was to die for. I hope they get to come back and visit us soon.
