This is one of my favorite locations in the Zion area because all these spots are only a few minutes away from each other. This formal session is the perfect example of all the different vibes you can achieve in just one shoot!

Brittany & Austin eloped to Zion National Park in early October. This time of year is when we get our peek autumn colors on the east side of Zion. I loved everything about this elopement, from the intimate ceremony with only their parents attending, to the portraits we took in the park afterward. We went to three locations within the park. I wanted to capture the pretty reds of the oak trees, the slot canyons, and the overlook for sunset. I’m really proud of how these photos came out. And I had so much fun with Brittany and Austin. They made my job easy!

There are many reasons I love this session, but the biggest and most obvious is this session has some serious flower power! We went up to Kolob Mountain while everything was in full bloom. Usually, June has the most flowers if we’ve have had enough rain, and when everything comes together it looks like this!
Josie & Jace dated before they both went on LDS missions and re-connected once they got home. They knew it was meant to be after spending 2 years apart and thinking of one another non-stop. Their formals are so full of that real love connection that I love.
