Tate & Nick wanted greenery in their engagement photos. That would have been no problem if it hadn’t been February in the middle of the desert. So we decided on Moon Valley Nursery in Las Vegas since it was close to where they live. This was my first shoot ever in a nursery. I really like how it turned out!
Engagement session with horses in Zion National Park, yes please!
This has to be one of my favorite sessions ever. We woak up early to catch the sunrise, it was a beautiful summer day. Sadie and Brian were amazing to photograph, and their 2 horses, Bo and Rem were a dream. My favorite part of the day was when I had them run through the water. The sun was coming up behind them and the light and the water looked so amazing. I got pretty wet, and walked in the muddy water in my tennis shoes but didn’t care one bit. I would do this every morning if I could!
These two are so incredibly sweet together. They meet at a party and were instantly drawn to each other. They talked for a long time, Trent wanted to ask her out when Trent’s friend came up and asked Chole out first! Trent didn’t want to be a bad friend, so he didn’t say anything. They both left the party thinking about each other, Chole was sad that Trent hadn’t asked her out, and Trent thought he didn’t have a chance with her. Chole ended up going on the date with Trent’s friend, it went okay, but she was still thinking about Trent. It wasn’t until Chole’s friend let it slip to Trent that she thought he was cute that Chole made the move to friend him on FB. They went on their first date and the chemistry was off the charts. They realized how similar they are, almost like they could read each other’s minds! — We went out to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes for their engagement session. I loved photographing these two! Both Chloe and Trent are amazing conversationalists and we talked about everything from food to The Office, to Trent’s cute grandpa. I can’t get over how adorable they are together. At the end of the shoot, I jokingly suggested that they roll down the sand dunes, to my surprise they thought it would be fun, which made me love them forever. I can not wait for their wedding day so I can capture more sweetness!
John & Courtney are from Pennsylvania and decided to get their engagements taken in Zion National Park while on vacation in Utah. They told me everyone around there goes to the same locations and gets the same photos taken for their engagements and they wanted something different, I think they got what they came for! I love how their session turned out!
