  Engagement session with horses in Zion National Park, yes please!

  This has to be one of my favorite sessions ever. We woak up early to catch the sunrise, it was a beautiful summer day. Sadie and Brian were amazing to photograph, and their 2 horses, Bo and Rem were a dream. My favorite part of the day was when I had them run through the water. The sun was coming up behind them and the light and the water looked so amazing. I got pretty wet, and walked in the muddy water in my tennis shoes but didn’t care one bit. I would do this every morning if I could!

• Sausha & Blair: Spring Engagement

  Orchards hold a special place in my heart. I grew up on a peach orchard like this one and always got excited about the pretty pink blossoms during spring. There is something special about watching the fruit go from flower to fruit, and taking that first juicy bit.

  I was very excited when Sausha suggested we do their engagements at Blair’s family orchard. The timing could not have been more perfect. We even incorporated Blair’s awesome vintage tractor (which still runs!) I can not wait to go back up here for the wedding day in a few weeks!

• Chole & Trent: Coral Pink Sand Dunes Engagements

  These two are so incredibly sweet together. They meet at a party and were instantly drawn to each other. They talked for a long time, Trent wanted to ask her out when Trent’s friend came up and asked Chole out first! Trent didn’t want to be a bad friend, so he didn’t say anything. They both left the party thinking about each other, Chole was sad that Trent hadn’t asked her out, and Trent thought he didn’t have a chance with her. Chole ended up going on the date with Trent’s friend, it went okay, but she was still thinking about Trent. It wasn’t until Chole’s friend let it slip to Trent that she thought he was cute that Chole made the move to friend him on FB. They went on their first date and the chemistry was off the charts. They realized how similar they are, almost like they could read each other’s minds! — We went out to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes for their engagement session. I loved photographing these two! Both Chloe and Trent are amazing conversationalists and we talked about everything from food to The Office, to Trent’s cute grandpa. I can’t get over how adorable they are together. At the end of the shoot, I jokingly suggested that they roll down the sand dunes, to my surprise they thought it would be fun, which made me love them forever. I can not wait for their wedding day so I can capture more sweetness!

• Alex & James

  Alex & James are one of those couples that make my job really easy, their chemistry is off the charts!

  James is in the air force and currently piolets drones, he wants to become an officer once he finishes school. They are both from Texas but currently live in Las Vegas. They wanted something different for their engagement photos and I’m so happy they decided to come to Zion National Park and hang out with me!
