I had so much fun during this engagement session! We started before sunrise and took Todd’s jeep up to this amazing look-out above Zion National Park. Next we headed up to Zion Mountain Ranch as the clouds started rolling in.
Chis & Lauren live on the East Coast and are planning a wedding in Zion NP for October 2015. We had talked over the phone and skped a few times prior to meeting, but once we meet in person I really got excited about working with them. We got along so well and were on the same page about so many things. We had a such blast taking these photos in the park. They were all about climbing the rocks and getting in the river to get cool shots. Also if you didn’t notice Chis has quite a bit of height on Lauren, so we came up with some fun poses so Chris didn’t look too much like a giant LOL.
October can’t come soon enough, can’t wait to hang out again and shoot their wedding!!
These two were so much fun to work with. They both live in California and just recently got engaged. On a whim they decided to get their engagements in Zion National Park while traveling around Utah. I’m so glad they found my website and called me!
Just to give you an idea of how awesome these guys are, Andrew offered to write me this amazing testimonial – thank you so much Andrew!
“We hired Shannon for a last-minute engagement photo shoot while we were vacationing in Zion National Park. Not only was she able to make it work on such short notice, but she drove to meet us in the park, then stayed with us for something like five hours as we drove and hiked all over the park. She knew exactly where to go for the best scenery and light at each hour, and did a great job at directing us where to stand and what to do. She made it fun to climb on rocks and pose for the camera. Her energy and confidence made it a great morning. Furthermore, since she knew we were hoping to get our save-the-date cards in the mail soon, she expedited the first set of 15 photos. We got them in a matter of weeks. The final complete set, comprising all 60 photos, came just a couple weeks later. Most importantly, the photos look great, and we are proud to show them off to our friends and family. Thanks Shannon!”
