Gotta do some personal work sometimes. Here is a little portrait shoot I did with the lovely Ashley.
Juhee & Evan traveled all the way from Idaho to have their wedding in Zion National Park. We lucked out with amazing lighting, we had beautiful cloud cover and to top it off we got a little rain at the end of the session which made for some awesome shots. They rented a cabin at Ponderosa Resort and all their family and friends were there to witnessed them exchange their vows. It was such a beautiful day and I’m so lucky I got to be a part of it.
I really love family sessions like this, they really capture family dynamics and preserve memories. Just a day at the park, so fun and easy going. I look at this family session and really envy how they get to look back on these photos when their baby grows up!
Capturing real moments of love and connection is my very favorite thing, and this session was so organic, I would love to do more sessions like this in the future!
Lauren and Chris planned their destination wedding for Zion National Park, October 2015. Such a beautiful time of year in Zion. They stayed at the Cliffrose Lodge, and Lauren and the girls got the Humming Bird Villa suite. The wedding took place on the Lawn of the Zion Lodge inside the park, the reception at the Cliffrose. Everything was absolutely amazing from the flowers by Bloomers, planning by Zion Party Rentals, decor from Swoon Vintage Rentals, music by Festival Sounds and Zion Wedding Music, to the catering by Katering Koncepts.
This wedding was such a dream to shoot, and Lauren and Chris were the most amazing clients of all time. xoxo
